We Support These Organizations
Alatheia Therapeutic Riding Center
Our mission: Changing lives with the healing power of horses.
Born from the combined love of horses and children, Alatheia Therapeutic Riding Center demonstrates the power of equine-based therapy. It is a nonprofit therapeutic riding center, affiliated with PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) and NFHR (the Norwegian Fjord Horse Registry).
Between the therapeutic and adaptive riding programs, Alatheia serves a wide variety of special needs. Riders range in age from 3 to 93, and may have a learning disability, genetic disorder, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, stroke, autism or epilepsy.
The demand for alternative therapies for people with special needs in North Central Washington is high and largely unmet. As a result, the riding center has experienced steady growth in Alatheia’s programs over the years and now serves 100 riders each week with 12 Norwegian Fjord Horses, five part-time instructors and nearly 100 volunteers.
Mountain View Women's Health
Our mission is to equip women to make informed choices about their sexual health by providing evidence-based services and education.
We believe:
- Women are strong and capable of making their own decisions.
- Every woman should be equipped to make informed decisions about her own health.
- No woman should be pressured into anything with which she feels uncomfortable.
- Women, regardless of their socioeconomic status, deserve healthcare that does not profit from their medical decisions.
- Every woman deserves to live in a safe and healthy environment.
