We Support These Organizations

Alatheia Therapeutic Riding Center

Our mission: Changing lives with the healing power of horses.

Born from the combined love of horses and children, Alatheia Therapeutic Riding Center demonstrates the power of equine-based therapy. It is a nonprofit therapeutic riding center, affiliated with PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) and NFHR (the Norwegian Fjord Horse Registry).

Between the therapeutic and adaptive riding programs, Alatheia serves a wide variety of special needs. Riders range in age from 3 to 93, and may have a learning disability, genetic disorder, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, stroke, autism or epilepsy.

The demand for alternative therapies for people with special needs in North Central Washington is high and largely unmet. As a result, the riding center has experienced steady growth in Alatheia’s programs over the years and now serves 100 riders each week with 12 Norwegian Fjord Horses, five part-time instructors and nearly 100 volunteers.

Life Choices of Wenatchee

Life Choices of Wenatchee Valley (formerly 1st Choice Pregnancy Care Center) began serving the Greater Wenatchee Valley in August 1983 under the name of Birthright. Over the years, many faithful directors and volunteers have laid the path for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies to have a safe place to go for help. In 2001, 1st Choice began moving in the direction of becoming a medical clinic.

With the help of faithful donors, we moved into a new facility at the Deaconess. Two years later, with a grant from Focus on the Family, we were able to purchase an ultrasound machine.

Today we are still meeting the needs of women with an unplanned pregnancy by educating them about their choices and helping them choose a healthy lifestyle.

Lighthouse Christian Ministries

Lighthouse Christian Ministries (LCM) is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through spiritual means of prayer, Bible study and church services. LCM will also help the poor and needy through physical means that include, but are not limited to: operating a soup kitchen, food distribution, discipleship housing, mentoring and education.
